the add'l weight of the 4wd would even things out too, I would imagine.

It's really about enjoying the truck, isn't it?
Sounds like you are not really enjoying the lift, except for the appearance of it. If you don't really use it, then maybe you should change direction.

It also sounds like $ is an issue. Dynatechs are big $ for the gains. IMO a cam, torque converter, and tune, would be a good bang for the buck. The truck would be a lot of fun every time you drive it. If you want headers, there are others for less $ and probably the same performance.

Very true Moddoo.

I was leaning towards the dynatechs just to keep an emission friendly setup. If I ever get time, I'll talk to some local exhaust shops to see what they might be able to do from a custom standpoint, and see how much money I could save, but i suspect that I won't be saving a whole heck of a lot. I could certainly be wrong though.

I think that I'll proably end up keeping the lift, at least until I wear out the BFG's

At that point, I might just go down to 275's or 265's for shorter effective gearing and lighter overall package. I'll just save my pennies. I'd regret it as soon as I took the lift off.

Maybe some Deaver springs would help. I just have to keep modding something one way or another.

You know how it goes....
