Has anyone heard of a S&B filter. I just want to know if they r even good filters.

 

i had one for my ram air on my LT1.. seemed to work really good, especially since it has the extra opening in the front. id rather have one of those then what i have now on my AEM.

 

I replaced my KN filter with a sb on my fipk. It seemed to let in a little more air at the track with the headlight removed. I bought it because of the open end. I really like the AFe filters now, It seems to be holding up well on my GMC.

 

I now have the S&B that was on Crederado's truck. I like it alot. Seems to flow a little better than the filter that came with the Gen2. Also my intake tube dosent seem dusty on the inside like it did with the K&N.

 

WHere can I get one of these filters?

My Whipple kit came with a S&B filter as a drop in replacement...looks just like a K&N...seems to be working just fine...although I need to open up my airbox alittle bit more.
