Best part of that vid is the people laughing in the back at every spin.

I've only ran from the cops once, down a country back road at about 3 pm, coming home from school. I was going about 120 (km/h) when I passed him sitting on the side of the road with the gun out. It was a speed limit of 80. Half the cops around here sleep with the gun out, so I just kept going, dropped to 110. I was about 500 feet past him when he popped his cherries, but didn't pull out. So I said whatever...and pinned it. 158 km/h for a good two minutes, until I hit the town I live in. My buddy's dad has a mechanics garage outside of town with the bay doors always open so I turned in there, got into the garage and shut her down. Heard the cop whiz by about 2 minutes later, sirens blaring. I saw him go by and he had city tags, not OPP tags which is the jurisdiction I was in. I've probably driven by him a few times, but he can't prove it.

I live in a small town, so I know most of the cops, and I've dragged a few of them off the lights. I can beat the crown vics but the impalas always get the jump and stay ahead by a hair.

Well, the crown vics are pretty fast for what they are. They have a lot of **** in them. All of my buddies are cops and one night I rode with one that works for the SO, they had just bought about ten new cars with nothing in them. If you have'nt ever looked under the hood of one, do it. The heads on these cars say "POL". The heads are the cobra heads from what I've been told. Anyways we pulled up to the gas pumps to fill up and took one of the new cars for a spin. I will bet that an empty police car with a 1/4 tank of gas will keep up or out run some of us on this board. I'm not kidding........the dubby of mine got a new car and it was full of **** from the SO. The modems, power adapters, stop sticks, first aid kits.......these cars have a ton of **** in them. Our trucks are half ton right....????.....I bet if we put 500+lbs in our trucks, they wouldn't be as fast. What these cars lack in speed, they make up in stopping and cornering. I'm not taking up for the police because I've out ran them a couple of times but I have rode in one with all of their **** in them and one completely empty. The empty car was a day and night difference. Oh on the speeding, in TX, you can't go to jail for speeding. The only way you can go to jail for speeding is if the cop can prove that it's recless driving. If you'er on the road all by yourself doing 140mph in a 65.....no. But if you'er doing 140mph in a 65 weaving in and out of traffic...then yes. It's up to the cop if he can prove it was recless driving.

Great story!!!

Some of you I'll probably **** off with my post.......can't make everyone happy.

I never tried to out run a cop or cops in a truck before , but on my R1 I have twice. I hit the back roads around here and I was long gone..

adrenaline rush like crazy... But afterwards I was like "That was stupid" . If I hurt another person in a wreck especially because I was being an *** of a rider/driver I couldn 't live with myself but that is me

I've run from two state troopers before. One from La in my sister's V6 Malibu, and the other in Tx in a rental car (Buick Century). The Malibu only goes to 106mph, but I found a good "duck-off" spot, but the Century got to 125mph. Lucky for me, the outrun in Tx was at 10pm, pitch black out, and the traffic that I past held him back after he tried to pull a U-turn to come get me. Again... found a good "duck-off" spot off the hwy, waited a few then kept on.

Cars can get outrun, but radios cannot. Not to condone it, but choose your battles wisely. State and local agencies cooperate here in La, and they have been working with Border Patrol recently on illegals. Hear the chopper a few nights a week.

APD(Austin Police Dept.) has a no pursuit policy.....but they have a new toy that was given to them. The bird. But the TCSO and DPS will chase you or do whatever it takes to get you. If you don't loose the cops in about 1min or so, your chances of getting away are very slim. The radios are hard to out run but they can't tell other officers where you are if they can't catch up or see ya.LOL. Out of sight out of mind if you will. The bottom line, like stated earlier, choose your battles.....hell pull over and take your *** chew'n.
