Default Roush truck guy OMG!!

I just got back from the store and I saw a nice white CC roush truck. As I was leaving the guy was near it putting his groceries in. I said "hey man, thats a nice truck, is the Roush a performance package or just an appearrance package??" He answers "appearance?? This thing really isnt even a Ford. Its a Roush. The engine is built by Roush." "Oh" I say, "Is it quick?" "well, before the supercharger its neck and neck with a vette, with the supercharger I can barely keep it under control"
Are these things even supercharged?? It said Stage 1 on the emblem. This is the second one Ive seen in 2 days. Id like to get beside one.

Roush refers to Jack Roush, who owns several NASCAR teams (trucks and cars). They build aftermarket cars and trucks (Fords) similar to Joe Gibbs (GM). They come in different stages. I think stage 1 is the highest performer, these trucks are no way near the performance of a Lightning. Most of the performance additions to the truck are in the suspension. Someone was obviously delusional. Maybe he had an exhaust leak in the cab...

if these rousch trucks are similar to the rousch stangs...then a stage 1 is the lowest package and stage 3 being the supercharged badass.

As mentioned I was under the impression that if supercharged at all, it would be a stage 3. Thats the way it is with the Mustangs. Stage 1 is catback and intake I thought... other than appearance stuff. Im going to see what I can find. The whole "its neck and neck with a vette before the supercharger" is what really got me.
Stage 1 is appearance only http://www.roushperf.com/html/roush_f150_stage1.htm
Neither is the Stage 2 http://www.roushperf.com/html/roush_f150_stage2.htm
What an idiot. I shouldve asked him to pop the hood.
