Default Renting something to pull my truck/trailer with

I was thinking about renting a Suburban to pull my truck to the LSX shootout... I dont know of anywhere that rents 3/4 ton subs or I'd definitely go that route. I want something easily found (to rent) that will pull my truck and trailer (about 6K) from VA Beach to Memphis... would a 1/2 Sub do it with no issues?

I'm wanting to rent something big inside so we can put our stuff in and still have plenty of room for about 5 guys + myself if need be. Something with a Duramax/Allison would be NICE.... As much as I hate to admit it, a Powerstroke Excursion would probably be the easiest to get my hands on

-Ideas???

I'd much rather go with the Suburban... you think the 1/2 ton Suburban would be enough to handle that kind of weight???

Do you have a trailer? I used a suburban to tow my mustang several years ago, it did just fine. But when I rented the trailer from U-haul, they almost did not rent me the trailer cause they said the suburban was not rated to tow a trailer with a car on it..... I threw a fit, finally they let me rent the trailer....

I have a trailer plenty big enough for my tools and truck and everything... they wont have any idea I'm towing my truck with it when I rent it.... LOL... I dont want to deal with that shitstorm like you did... I have already encountered that trying to take it to the trans shop last year.

Thats alright... chances are, the truck will STILL be on jack-off stands in October.... and if its not, thats ok, I'm still not that concerned....

it took you a $35K SS vehicle with a bottle to get a faster timeslip
