Removing side mirror glass?

Removing side mirror glass?

Anyone have any tips on how to release the tabs holding the glass down without breaking the glass? Thanks.

All I know is it was a pain to remove the glass from my Street Scene mirrors. I think I used a screwdriver to lightly spread the clips and carefully worked my way around until the glass came out.
