Default Removing Engine

Whats the best way to remove the complete engine and transmission on a 2003 Silverado 4.3L V6? Can they be removed from the bottom?

engine isn't coming out from the bottom, as for the transmission it's up to you to pull it all at the same time up top or seperate (tranny at the bottom)

If you pull trans with motor, you better make DAMN sure you have a spare yoke in the tail housing of that trans. Otherwise, you'll be cleaning a lot of fluid that's leaked outta the converter & pan onto the pavement.
