Default Removing the Bed and Cab

I'm getting ready to pull the cab and bed off of my 89 tomorrow night. Are there any tips or tricks for removing these? I figure the biggest problem will be lifting these off of the cassis. I plan on lifting the bed off with the help of a couple friends. As for the cab, I plan to get a 6X6 piece of wood and wrapping it with carpet. After I make that I'd stick it through the cab with the doors open and lift it up with one of my loader trucks. Does this all sound good?

ya beds arent heavy you should be ok with that as long as you have 4 guys just to balance every corner

make sure when your doing the cab you use a bunch of 2x4s lol... that would suck to see them snap in half and drop your cab, good luck bro!!
