No but according to the lastest MotorTrend
the New Chevy Cobalt is going to replace the Cavalier in 2005,
3 ecotec engine choices, a 140 hp 2.2l 4 cly, a 2.4l with 170hp and get ready....a supercharged 2.0liter called the Cobalt SS, good for atleast 200..

sweet.

i think everyone is finding out it is not a performance truck.
dont get me wrong bigtex has one mean SS
and there are other guys on here and on siveradoSS that have fast trucks.
but they have spent some mod money getting them that quick.
i think if people where serious about buying a performance truck and wieghed how much they are going to be spending. you get more bang for your buck with those other brands of trucks.
one day GM will realize this and snap to it.

(I hope)

there aren't any. you can get an SS conversion kit for the exterior if you want though.

I'm an Extended Cab kinda person. Yeah the reg cabs are lighter and easier to make quick, but it's more embarassing getting spanked by an Extended Cab full of people! And being it is my daily driver, its nice to take the whole family along. But hey, thats just me. If I could have either, give me the EC SS. I'm just a little short on the cash, like, all the way short!

Yes ... but it's even more so embarissing if you were to get beat by a bolt on RCSB truck.

I got a good run for my money from an exhaust only truck, maybe an HPP3 too when I was in my Z71. From a dig, it wasn't pretty, but a 50 roll, it was to close for comfort considering what I had in it.
