ok, strange question here, but...

I have a 99 ECSB silverado, do any of the newer years rear seat have three shoulder belts instead of the lap belt in the center? I know Tahoe rear seats do. I am wondering cause I'd like to swap in a newer rear seat, if possible, to gain that 3rd shoulder belt. Not even sure what would be required to do it if they exist- I would think mounting positions are the same, just not sure where that shoulder belt bolts to.

 

I doubt that the new seat would fit in since the seat back is thinner on the Silverado and that the standard angle of the seat back is probably different. Plus I would imagine that the Tahoe seats are folding which also take up more mounting room.

 

i know tahoe seats won't work- i'm wondering if any newer silvy ex cab models have the 3 shoulder belts on their rear seats.

 

No they don't. I believe 99-07 classic all have the same rear seat for an ec.

 

thanks truckmann, where did you get your efan harness "white1"? diff/better than a nelson harness? I wanna do this mod soon.

 

White1 is a member on here, but he isn't making harnesses any longer. PM Derek@EDO he can hook you up with a harness. Basically the same as a Nelson harness with less cost.
