I forgot to touch on the stock heads part. Personally I think this cam would run best on a set of WCCH stage 1 heads that have been milled. That cam is going to love as much compression as it can get. Plus the 1.94 intake valves that those heads come with will allow that cam to get as much air as it needs without being short of breath. I know my 224/224 .581/.581 110 cam is hating stock heads in a 5.3. It would be able to breathe so much better with a set of stage 1 heads

my cam really suffers from the stock compression ratio as well... I'm eventually either working these stockers over or getting some of the WCCH edelbrock heads... I'm shooting for about 11:1 compression eventually. I'd like my DCR in the 8.5-8.8 range...
