I just have to let off some steam. If you live in an area where most drivers are considerate and not in a damn hurry, be thankful. Here in the SF bay area, it seems like EVERYONE is in an damn hurry. They cut you off to get one car length ahead of you, they pull out in front of you and expect you to slow down for them and they blatantly run red lights. IT'S REALLY STARTING TO **** ME OFF! It seems like every day, someone does one of the three things to me or all three. When they pull out or cut me off, I honk to say "hello, I'm here or did you see me", you know, just to get their attention as to what they just did. And in return to you slowing down and not bashing in their car or killing them, what do I get, the finger. I know why people get shot at while driving, THEY'RE ********! Whew, I feel better now .

Yep, I live in Cali also, so I know how you feel.
Same damn thing here....cut u off to get 1 car ahead of you, pull out right in front of you (it's MY RIGHT OF WAY) then they flip the bird or whatever...doesnt make any sense...why do they get pissed when THEY did the wrong thing?

I live on a two lane hwy in the middle of the desert...once I get off the resort I live on there is NOTHING to get in my way for like 65 milles.....

Ever go up to Lone Pine? I was up there after hiking Mt. Whitney. While we were waiting for the greyhound bus there was one girl driving up and down the main drag. She went by like 13 times. She was the only traffic.

I hear MA and CA were rated #1 and #2 for the worst drivers of the country. I'm not sure which state was in which place.

I get that stuff daily too. It's so bad now, that I *REFUSE* to travel on the highway during the rush-hours. I take the horribly paved back-roads all the way to work and home again at night.

I love it when I'm following people, and they don't use directionals...

Or I'm doing 10 over on a two lane road, and I have someone riding so close, I can't see their headlights.

It's so bad here, my girlfriend and I actually had THREE people stop to yell at us, while I was backing my travel trailer, up into the driveway a few months back.

I live on one side of a blind hill, on a small country road. People love to drive like idiots here, because there is an S-turn just before the hill and people use it as a test track or something.

Well, I had to stop at the top, and back it in. One lady is yelling at my g/f who was directing cars.

g/f: "Go ahead, go around.."
lady "You can't see!"
g/f "...Yes I can!"
lady "Don't get smart with me, you b*****."
g/f "Go **** youself!"
(zoom, she drives off... and I flip her off as she goes by.)

Another hag stops and yells at me "You're gonna cause an accident here!" My reply, "Well if you'd slow the **** down, it wouldn't be a problem!"

The third says to me, "This is a bad spot to be doing this..." -- "What do you want me to do? I live here."
