Default Ran My Truck Today + Videos

Woot I ran my truck today at the 1/8th...On MOTOR...

RT - .767
60 ft - 2.406
MPH - 75.88
1/8th - 9.808

Only Mods - 5.7L LS1, Stock 5.3L heads and intake, LS6 Cam, Pacesetter Long Tubes, ORY-pipe, glasspack w/dump, Custom K&N CAI

On a 75 SHOT N2O (half bottle, low pressure)...

RT - .667
60 ft - 2.187
MPH - 81.22
1/8th - 9.020

Is that good for my mods with stock tires, stock 4l60e, stock converter, stock rearend, stock suspension on a 2003 RCSB???

Those times seem pretty slow for the mods you have. My truck ran a 9.69 with only a Hypertech, cat back, and intake.

Well, the run with the 75 shot was pretty quick. I ran a 9.4 in the eighth (at 4,400 foot elevation) with only a Nelson 91 octane tune, but I have a 6.0 liter LQ9. Your MPH are pretty good, I think you need to improve your holeshot and 60 foot time. Maybe a stall TC.

Hmm so It should be faster then. It does need a tune though. I think sometime this week i will have it tuned. Im gonna try a fuddle TC for now and later on get the heads ported with bigger valves.

work on those 60' times and the times will drop for sure. i agree that it seems a bit weak for the mods you have. what gears are in there?

Ahhhh! The gears are the culprit. Those are pretty high gears. I have 4.10's. Now I think those times are pretty good considering your gearing handicap. Some 3.73's would help a lot. 4.10's even more so, but you will sacrifice fuel economy.

You should try it again with slicks. 60 ft should be in 1.9-2.1 range with traction.
