Has anyone been able to find the cause of these driver's side rattles? My Sierra has it as well. I'm tempted to spray some expanding foam in there and see if it helps. SO ANNOYING!

If it's got Onstar, the cellular module will get loose in the bracket behind the cluster and make some noise. But there's lots of things back there that will get loose, too.

my 2000 has it and it was one of the clips that hold the very top of the dash to the sub structure. The molded plastic post that holds the clip had broken off. Looks as if you stick the right thickness of foam between the windshield and the dash top it should stop the rattle and shouldn't be very noticeable.
