Default Question on tires

I'm in desperate need of tires for my 2000 Silverado 2500 ECSB. I more or less narrowed it down to these http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

I don't really tow or haul anything worthwhile but I do snowplow. My real question is with the load rating. My truck came with E rated tires and thats what I have on there now but they are stiff as can be especially since the truck is unloaded most of the time. I can get those tires in a E or C rating but that's where I'm concerned about safety. The max load per tire is stated at 2470lbs for a total of 9880lbs. Now since my GVWR for my truck is 8600lbs shouldn't I be fine with the C rated tires since I technically would be overloading my truck far before I max out the weight rating's on the tires? The C rated ones are obviously cheaper aswell but I just want to be sure I looking at this right.

Idk if I'd go with the LRC, they would be stressed out with just the weight of your truck. I work at discount tire, and they won't even let us mount 6 ply tires on 3/4 ton trucks, has to be at least a 8 ply or load range D. I would look into some of the options on the LRD if you want the cheaper tires that meet min weight for your truck. Hope I could help out
