In the 99-02 trucks I know you could get a painted front bumper. Does anyone know if the Silverado SS front bumper (under the cover) has all the proper holes to put a bumper pad on and lower valance? I may go this route

 

I've never seen a 03-07 with a paintable front bumper before, only chrome or SS...going color-matched huh Joe?

 

Yup, I'm going the full color matched treatment. The only chrome on my truck will be the center caps.

 

Here's a pic of my truck as it sits now. I've got painted door handles going on this weekend - SS rear spoiler - just gotta do bumpers and the SS grille. No SS bumper cover though. It'd look too funny with my wheels I think.

 

When I had some body work/paint done on my 04 SSS, I remember my painter telling me that under my bumper cover was an exact silverado bumper..and I am not sure if it was chrome...Truck looks good btw^^

 

MY 05 is a WT model, Rear bumper is painted grey, front bumper is chrome.
