pro's / con's to running a steel fuel tank/ vs aluminum

Default pro's / con's to running a steel fuel tank/ vs aluminum

im thinking about doing a fuel tank where the spare tire will go.

i plan on using 14 gauge thick steel or aluminum, and making it maybe 15 to 18 gallons ....using the stock fuel system or course, just integrated into the new fuel tank.

Steele rust and corrods a lot easier and would be heavier.. Aluminum looks better and lighter..
