procharger install manual
#3
I bought zachman89's d1 and he lost the manual. I need torque specs, clocking (how the blower mounts), how to mount the brackets (theres 2. Im prety sure on the big one, but not on the little?), and how to mount the pulleys.
Ive found a catch can diagram on ls1tech. credit to aster.
I need to know where to find the cv (check valve) for this diagram as well. Is there a tricker way to run the lines for the catch can or am i stuck with the hose?

If the blower was off of a truck the same year your looking to put it on or from (99-07) It wants to mount with the Procharger tag upright facing you. The impeller outlet wants to face down. If the bracket has the horseshoe or U typed front bracket that goes with the U directly under the blower crank. That is new style bracket. Let me get to my manual and take pic of the belt routing. I never have tq'd the bolts that hold the blower in, just used common sense. They are long, you will want to start by tightening from the inside bolts out. I wouldn't run a catch can like that and feed it back into the blower IC piping.

As for the bypass vac line, it goes to the intake manifold. Or behind the TB

Also here is where my bypass is mounted. Vac line then goes to the intake mani. Also my blower was off a car, has since had the gear slinger re-clocked. Your procharger tab will want to face up like in the link I posted. I have the old style brackets, but located my pulley's in the same place they are on the new style brackets.

Thanks for all the help john! This is my first head/blower install. Im getting nickled and dimed over all this little stuff needed for this install, not to mention a bunch of reading. Im swapping my heads then putting the d1 on, so I have my hands full. I really do appreciate the help!
