I ran one in my last truck. I ran it for 6 months before selling the truck. If i hadn't sold the truck I would have pulled it out.

My observations of the no-slip:
Pros:

Traction - yep they're both spinning now
Install - ease of install
Price - less than the others (eaton, auburn, ect)

Cons:

Clunky / noisy (loud), sounded like the rear end was breaking daily; your passengers will look around like wtf!? when they hear it. Parking lots (change of direction, stopping)

Tire Chirp, plan on this if you ever decide to turn out onto a street while accelerating. Not an issue while turning on hwy

Disengaged and reengaging or unit or cycling - when you let off the throttle unit disengages vehicle pushed left, back on the throttle unit reengages pushing vehicle to the right (something like that)

I'd recommend checking the considerations section in the manual before purchase.
Powertrax No-Slip manual can be found here:

Street manners suck, I have owned & driven them in a couple different rigs, I would recommend an Eaton LSD instead.

I have been selling a **** load of the new powertrax limited slip. Everyone seems to like them so far. They just hit the shelves so there aren't many out on the road. They call it the Grip LS .

Defiantly go with a LSD vs locker for anything your going to run on the street IMO

They have the new Grip Pro which is there take on a truetrac. Comes with spiral gear internals.

Personally no. I only run limited slips in my vehicles because I drive them on the street.

there is athe Powertrax No Slip system
or the
Powertrax Lock Rite.

The Lockrite I wweent through 3 of them in an open 8.5" rear end with a stock L31 engine. It added major drive;ine slop into the rear. I think it would be a nightmare in manual trans truck. Rear end would make a banging noise when I would turn into parking spots enough that people walking teh sidewalks would look quickly.

Those dog gears slide over one another in the corners, as ypou can see they will wear.

The Powertrax No SLip traction system, is more expensive than and is supposed to be quieter than the Lockrite locker that is pictured above.
the Lockrite is an easy install, but requires and open dif.

peace
