The power tour was pretty cool. Got to meet Tony (Nine ball), he’s got sweet car. Lots of nice cars, there was a twin turbo 69 camaro . Saw a hemi magnum put 280hp to the wheels on a dynojet thru an auto. That seems pretty respectable for a freeking wagon.

The hotrod picture guy took his job real serious, I bet he took 400+pictures and maybe 4 of them will make it in the magazine. Did anyone here know they put the owners in with the cars? I sure didn’t and didn’t go dressed nicely at all. One of the hotrod guys had to lend me some jeans, he said “no one really needs to see your white legs”. I agree, no one really needs to see me at all but I guess it is what they do. He kept telling me to look tougher. I did a decent burnout too, I am pretty sure that one will get in the magazine.

Sound like it will be in there in about 4 months and it will be a full feature, like 2-4 pages. Can’t wait to see what they do with it. Thanks PSJ for hooking me up with them!!

hey congrats on all that good jazz you recieving up there. try to update us when the issue gets closer. i don't have a subscription to that mag and would love to have the one with your truck in it.

 

Cool deal. Thats funny they said to look tougher because when we had the drivers meeting for the cruise they told us not to mean mug it for the cameras. I guess if you don't look happy they can't sell more registrations next year.

Patiently waiting on your article to come out. Thats a really big deal for hot rod to feature a truck.

Now that you have that over with, are you gonna get some tires and run it at the track again?

 

i think 1.5 60's are my next goal. it has warmed up alot here, i think it will be a chalenge to run the same time i ran before even if i drop my 60'. there is also some kind of event at the local track in a few weeks and a burn out contest, i think i will give that shot.
