Yup, BlownChevy has a 1500 CC, his is cammed and radixed and running great.
My 04 that was in 14.2's, was basically all full bolt-ons, ASM longtubes, Comp Cam 216/220, hughes 2500 stall, 3.90 gears, pulley, dynomax dual bullets, open cutouts, plugs/wires, electric fans at time of best run, intake stock G80 rear, on street tires at best run. Never did get to run it in cooler weather with ported throttle body or open cutouts and et streets. It had 13.8's in it. Had planned on a 3200 fuddle converter and 4.10 gears. That should have put it mid 13's. Oh, and it took a little slim fast. lol. dropped the trailer hitch, rear bumper for a roll pan and tailgate, spare tire, front tow hooks. Mine was polo green with just a 2" rear shackle drop on OEM style 17" Denali Wheels.
Oh and a Nelson Tune

thanks. if you just want to be in the 14's a denali crew will get you there pretty easy with not a lot of bolt ons, but the truck is pricey. i ran a 15.1 in mine with tuning, cai, and 160 stat as the only mods. i took out the spare and tailgate but ran with 20's on. i think if i put stock wheels on it would run a high 14. one good thing about the denali is you don't have to worry about traction
