plug wires ?

Exclamation plug wires ?

is there some damn special trick to getting these off on a 01 5.3L

yeah there are a pain to get off...just keep workin on em...and make sure when u re-install them to push really hard until you hear a click

I get behind them with a flat head and pry while pulling. gives a lil extra leverage.

it makes for a pain in the ***, cause they have these plastic aluminum sleeves that leave just enough to get 1 finger on the end of the wire

put some dielectric grease on the new ones... helps remove them later...

get some pliers... grab on to the metal sleeve, but not so hard that ur puttin too much pressure on the rubber part., and then pull.... works for me.

yep, the twist breaks the seal then they should wiggle off.
