Some guys run MSD wires because they have a flexable boot and some guys use wire socks. What headers are you running?

It could be that the wires are too long. It could be the wires just need to be angled differently, coming off the coil.

I use the MSD wires for the Camaro/Corvette as they are shorter than the MSD truck wires. Works great.

I had similar problems on an 04 truck, used the MSD wires and it solved my issue.

Here is a link to ours:

We also have a package deal on MSD wires and NGK Plugs:

We used sleeves on stock wires in another forum members truck, and to the best of my knowledge he hasn't had any problems.

Do you have round or square coils?

You can run LS1 MSD wires with the round coil packs if you don't want much slack in the wires.

It also depends on if the problem is the boot or the wire itself making contact.
