Default Plug and Plug Wire Recommendations

Recently purchased a 2000 Silverado with the 5.3, it has 86,XXX miles on it. I'm basically doing the 100,XXX mile service on it. What are some good plugs to run? It's pretty much stock with a CAI. I do plan on some performance stuff later, but no power adders (turbo, supercharger, NOS). Also what wires do you all recommend?

Thanks,
Steven

belden wires and ac delco plugs

both can be found at any napa

if you plan on getting headers get a set of wires for an 07 express van they have the 90* connector on the plug end not the straight end, this will help keep you from burning throught them

I do like the Taylor Thundervolt 50's also!!! I ran the TR55's in my old truck and had no problems with them. I'll prolly go back with the NGK's when I do it and go with the Taylor wires.

same here. i went through 2 sets of bosch wires in a month. i got the ngks and taylors at summit for like $60 a year ago and not a problem since. except for when i did the longtubes i just had to twist them to keep from touching the pipes.

i say msd wires and NGk tr55's!! i had the taylor wires but they kept makeing my truck misfire. I had them on my truck for less than a month, then i swithed to the msd wires (which have less resistance than my taylor wires did) and they work great!!! but thats just my $.02
