Default Please tell me I'm not F'd

Well, since my original post just dissapeared I'm reposting this.

I'm putting in the Walbro GSS340 in my truck and ran into some problems.

That hose broke while removing it from the old fuel pump. Snapped in half right on the pump, about 1/4" off the end. While trying to get what was left of it squeezed onto the walbro, the line split in two places. Please tell me I'm not fucked and that hose can either be purchased in a kit or replaced with something else. I know that line has to be a high pressure line, I'm almost certain.

Please let me know before I go buy a whole new assembly and not even get to use the Walbro.

And on a side note. Thanks to all my ********, rich, pompous assed neighbors that can't seem to be bothered to help a guy push a 5,000lb truck uphill to get it into his garage. How the hell can you stand around in your ****** huddle, talking about 4 guys going to go tan in the morning and not help someone out? And to the bitch that backed over my stuff just to get the parking spot I was just in while you sat in your car watching me and then saw my stuff right in the spot and then still proceeded to back in. If I ever see you again, I will punch you in your fat crooked nose and I hope you trip and fall in a puddle of aids. Die

duh, I am pissed.

We broke the same hose doin Matt-White1's truck a couple weeks ago. Just go to the autoparts store and tell them you need fuel line. Bring the pump with you and make sure it fits etc etc. Easy as done then.

well, I bought 2ft of 3/8ths fuel line because I was going to splice in the line from the pump like the how to says but decided to solder in the new connector to the harness.

But doesn't it need to be high pressure? I would hate for the hose to fail and I have to do this again.

The line we used was for 60psi. Holds just fine no problems at all. Be sure to shrink wrap any wires that you splice and solider back together. I don't think you really have to......but kinda a scary thought abouta hot and neg open exposed fully in a tank of gas lol.

no worries about the wires as they went back into the connector after that. It looks stock. Good looking out though, thanks.

I'll check advance for some 60psi line tomorrow.

you need to use EFI hose, i had regular fuel hose on my pump and it left me stranded on side of road. it split the hose right in half right with the path of traffic. now i used EFI hose and EFI clamps and no issues

get the highest pressure fuel line you can find, labeled EFI is better. I noticed at O'Rielley's they had some "kits" for Ford EFI that looked like the right size, these were out on the floor
