Default Pics of Taormina Sicily.

I have alot of time on my hands here, so here are a few pics of the trip my wife and i took last friday.

This is where the Gladiators fought.

Here is a shot where you can see the hole they would scrape the dead bodies into.

This is at the Riccota cheese festival. They have made fresh ricotta here anually for hundreds of years. This was in Vizzeni BTW.

I've took almost 500 pics of trips so far, so if anyone wants to see more, i have more. Went to an old Catholic Church from the 12th century. Lots of pics of that.

all you have to do is right click on the "x" copy the address link and paste it.

about the pics...looks like a lot of fun, wish i could go to europe! seeing different cultures in person must be awesome...unless you're in an african hut or something, that wouldn't be cool. but good pics...quality is good too!

Here is the first thing you see walking inside the 12th cent. church.

This is one of the first confeshionals. Its hundreds of years old.

This is original to the church. It was touched up in the 16th century.

Im sure alot of people have seen this image somewhere. This is the original "Jesus Heart"

I'm going to Florence in June. Any places you recommend? What was your favorite place? Where's the good food at?
Mille grazie

Well the good food isnt here. Its nothing like our Italian food. Bland.
They did create icecream here, and it is awsome. And the cheeses are the best. Sweets are good too. Just be carefull about "steak" sandwiches. It may be either horse or sheep or goat.

My favorite place was a 150 year old whinery, where they still use the ORIGINAL techniques for wine and liquer.

Here is the engine that pumps and mixes wine and liquer. How bout some steam HP.

Here is the tanks for brewing.

These shops were nice, but more than i can afford. Prada, and all the other big names.
