Default Picking up my '06 2500HD this week!

Well I finally decided it was time for a tow vehicle for the GTO. I bought a trailer for it about a month ago and already got use out of it last weekend when I grenaded the rear end on my attempts for 10s with the stock IRS setup. Good thing my sister was out of town! I just borrwed her Z71 Tahoe and I am glad I did. So after breaking the car at the track for teh second time I decided I needed a truck.

I have a deposit on a Black/light tan 2500HD with the 6.0litre motor. I wanted the Diesel, but I couldn't justify the price difference with the amounts of money I have been throwing at the GTO. The truck is pretty much loaded and still came out about $6000 cheaper than an unloaded diesel. Oh well that $6000 will pay for my new longblock/408 for the GTO.

So my question to you guys... What should I do with this truck if I intend to trailer with it. I was thinking just Intake/Headers/Exhaust/Tranny cooler and a Tune should be plenty of power for this truck!

Any thoughts! Man I can't wait to pick my truck up this week!

ATI Procharger D1SC
Small blower cam
LTs with full exhaust
methanol
and lots of other little goodies

makes 603/506 at the wheels on the methanol
best: 1.96 60ft 11.34 @ 130mph

I have been daily driving the GTO for over a year! And I will continue to daily drive it! Don't worry me getting a truck does not take the GTO off the street!

ATI D1SC is my choice on FI for teh GTO. I have beaten a few Maggie cars and Vortech cars. Now there isn't another Blown car keeping up with my times. Also the STS system is a nice choice if you like that route... me personally for teh GTO... I had always wanted a muscle American car with a Blower and thats what I did and LOVE IT!!!!

the sstuuf you want to do (Intake/Headers/Exhaust/Tranny cooler and a Tune) should be be just fine for what the truck is going to do. those mods will most likely get you up into the 400's
