My PI Vig 3000 that I had installed didn't brake stall nearly as high as I had hoped. It would see around 2300rpm at 4psi of boost. Long story short, PI is going to next-day-air another Converter with a few hundred rpm higher stall. A+ on the Customer Service!
On a side note, I learned more about things like the difference between a PI with a turbo stator and, say, a Trailblazer converter. If they both "brake-stall" at 2500rpm, the PI is going to "flash-stall" much higher and be more efficient. There were some other fine details as well. This isn't to bash on the TBC either, just why one costs about $700 more, uhhhgg....

Good to hear. I'm on the fence leaning toward a PI Vigilante 2600-2800 for my ride. Would love you to come back and say you picked up a half second or more E/T. I'd be on the phone to PI.
