any 5.3 guys have any problems with the hemi trucks? as far as track times or street

 

yeah...I have Hemi problems...but I just pick up some preparationH that takes care of em....all joking aside, soon as I get the truck shifting right, I am suppose to race one.

 

a 5.3 very mildly modded could easily walk a hemi, heck 4.8's could as well modded a lil more. stock vs stock, i'd think i'd be pretty close.

I have outran 3 Hemi trucks here where I live in Mountain Country Virginia......

The one that gave me the best race is a R/C 4X4....I only got him by about a truck lenght. He had a good exhaust/Intake setup was about all he had.

The 4 Door 4X4 Hemi got smoked! By my GMC 5.3 R/C Z71. He was stock except for some pipes.

The Rumble Bee is a joke! It just loud from the factory. Fast? No way....he was eaten too!

All I have done is Ported TB, spacer, K&N CAI, High Flow Cats, Custom non-muffler exhaust, TransGo shift kit and NelsonPerformance Tune for WFO!

I have taken out a few hemi's with my lil 4.8 so yes it can be done

 

No issues on my end...........
