If you had one over the other, what did you like about the other.
Head specs, valve sizes, and what application were they on. (forced or n/a)
Did you have any port work, or were they bolted on right out of the box.
I'm just looking around for something interesting. Nothing that I can currently do myself.

WCCH 5.3 Stage 1
Milled .045 (58.8 cc chambers)
1.95 Intake, 1.57 exhaust valves
CNC ported bowls and chambers
Valve job
Great value
More than satisifed with the heads. If I did it again on my 5.3, the only others I would consider are the WCCH / Edelbrock 5.3 heads, but they are a lot more $$$.

I have the Edelbrocks from WCCH. These heads are made for the 5.3L with a 3.70 bore. Richard CNC'd and milled them for me to net me an estimate of 11.0-11.5:1 CR. Do I like them......do they perform well.......I ran a 12.69 @ 105mph in a Z71 N/A 5.3 with a 1.72 60'. The temp was 73* and the humidity was 70% or so.
Make your own opinion........

I would suggest calling Richard and speaking with him 818-705-5454. He will take the time to explain the benefits of each head, and can sell you just about anything you need. I feel he is the first choice on this board for advice and buying heads, he spends more time here than most of the sponsors.

If you want someone who will stand behind their top quality product WCCH is the only way to go. I would also trust that his flow numbers are real, some of the other head manufacturers I wouldnt be so sure about there are alot of tricks to make a head flow better on the flow bench. Im sure you have noticed all the people on this board that have bought from him and I dont think I have heard one bad thing about him or Rex.

Don't know about how they handle on these new engines but i have Dart Iron Eagles on my 350 in my blazer and its a strong set of heads. Got mud in my radiator and on my headers one. Temp got up to 265 degrees and its still running strong. Had a lot better flow over factory heads.

Ive got a set of WCCH stage 1's cnc'd, p&p, milled .030, 1.95intake, 1.57 exhaust, should be around 10.2:1 CR . Didnt get any dyno numbers , but ran a 13.92@96 in an ext cab truck before I had a minor valve spring malfunction. Richard is living up to his reputation and taking a look at and hopefully fixing the heads though, his customer service is top notch!!

ill have dyno results for patriot performance heads by the end of december(hopefully). i talked to wcch and patriot and both companies are top notch IMO. no experience with any others.
