painting pieces

Default painting pieces

what do i need to do to paint my door handles and the black step pad on the back bumper, also i want to paint my door panels and dash all black with red accents on some pieces. what do i do to prep the material? what kind of paint and primer to use so on and so forth

Slobaknobyo- I will get you the name of the kind we use on our racecar. We put after market noses and tail peices on it that are made of plastic like that of a rubbermaid trashcan. Its dupont and some real good ****. Will let you know tomorrow.

decided to keep the bumper but shave the tailgate and cap as well as go with caddy tail lights from drop zone

If you're getting the tailgate shaved and painted, let the body shop do the door handles and the bumper pad.

Hey crazy, you ain't figured out yet he doesn't know what the heck he wants? I'd bet he goes with AIM/Chassis Tech(cheap) rather than do a custom 4 link.

at a body shop it's 220 for just materials to paint the interior parts...(door panels, dash, pillars...etc.) and i don't want to even think about what labor would be...and i am going with a custom 4 Link and panhard bar backed by coilover shocks and a 3/4 lowering from DROP ZONE in Pantego, Texas...and probably some Caddy tail lights also.
