override the headlights

what about pulling out the fuse the DTR fuse? would the headlights still work?

Isn't there a way to take something off a 00 - 02 silverado daytime setup and hook it up to my 99 silverado? for the overriding of the headlights. I know I would have to get the system reflashed but you would think it would be possible.

I think you may be able to swap in a newer (00-02?) BCM to make it work, but I'm not %100 sure.

I override the day-time running lights on my truck, but when it starts to get dark the lights don't turn on automatically , so i'm driving and it's getting darker and i'm thinking to myself "the lights should turn on any time now"..."come on, turn on!"...so i'm driving almost in the dark like a dumbass, and all i have to do is turn the **** and the lights will turn on...I guess we're getting lazy to do manual stuff so we rely on our automated computers to do almost everything but drive the car...
