2k a good rpm to drive in,, any lower then that and my truck feels like it's kinda weak in the torque department and downshifts as soon as push the gas down a little....

leave the 373s in, the 3.42s make it a dog. They'll hurt your gas mileage around town because they lug the engine more and they really suck if you're going to a larger tire.
