Hey guys, I hate to have to write this thread. But, I have to imform you guys that after my owner/Dealer Primcipal died on Sept. 30th, the bank has foreclosed on the dealerhsip and the store. So I am out of work and out of business. I have to abandon my role of checking the VIN #'s for you guys and I won't be of any help to you guys with your warranty and service questions until I find work at another dealership.

I am currently trying to purchase my own store here locally called Car Quest Parts World but I won't know how that's going for a month or so. But in the meantime I'll be seeking employment and I won't be active here on PY.net for awhile.

I have enjoied all the friends I've made here and have enjoide talking with you all......

damn bro, sorry to hear that. Having experience as a small dealership owner, I can offer you one bit of advice.....carry your own paper and you will make money

 

Same thing almost happened to my uncle when he was working with a shady partner. He was able to get his own place and make some real coin though before the feds stepped in. My dad's partner died back in the 80's and he had a hard time dealing with his partner's crazy wife tying everything up in court. He almost lost everything too. You'll bounce back and godspeed to you!

 

So sorry to hear about your problems. You've been a big help to a lot of ppl here and you will be missed! I hope that you find something real soon.
