Default ORY rant!

I have never in my life cussed soo much as I did removing the catless offroad y pipe off my truck only after being installed 6 months. Complete PITD! I had to slit the pipe while it was on the collector with a cutoff wheel to get it loose. My mod to this going back on is that Im thinking of getting 3 bolt flanges welded to the collectors and the y pipe so in the future all I gotta do is unbolt the damn thing. Anyone done this yet or has had the same problem?

I bought the walker clamps from summit, I actually had them price match it to another online vendors pricing.

Vbands are just too expensive and still require some welding, I prefer the band clamps so I can get to the trans pan if needed.

ubolts are garbage, they crease your exhaust together, 3" wide stainless band clamps ftw! or vbands if your going to weld on them

Slip fit only works good with stainless set ups, band clamps. Muffler clamps on steel, added with weather = what you had to do.
