I'm going to be ordering my 2006 Silverado 2WD 2LT Crew Cab with the VortecMax Pack.

I have a few questions about certain RPO codes:


CWB - Chrome Exterior Package (Whats all in this, any pics?)

UK3 - Redundant Radio Controls/Message Center-Steering Wheel


One thing I don't understand is that, doesn't the 2LT package come with UK3 anyways? When you get on GM's ordering page at the dealership, you can select UK3 RPO and it shows $125.00, shouldn't it be, N/C?

The UK3 steering wheel controls are an option on the LT2 package, but come with the LT3 package.

The CWB option is not available on the LT3 package because you can not combine the CWB option with the power fold mirrors. This option gives you chromed door handles and outside mirror covers.

I checked out a 2006 2LT Crew Cab and the only option was the "2LT" and it had the steering wheel controls, it wasn't listed on the window sticker as a "option", it doesn't make sense.

Any pics of the chrome package?

 

Did that truck have the "Onstar Plus Package" option? The steering wheel controls are included as part of the package.

I saw a pic of the Chrome package somewhere, but can't seem to find it right now. I think all it had was chrome caps on the mirrors (like 99-02 trucks had) and the door handle was chrome, but the plastic around the handle was black. I will try to find the pic.

 

I just got back from the dealership and they didn't know... They said maybe GM might have taken them out of the 2LT PEG.

I did notice that the trucks that I checked out did have Onstar, maybe that's it then.
