how much is an 6.0 out of an 03 escalade with 30,000 miles on it

the guy told me 2500 for it

LQ4 ===1500 to 2000, imo. does it come with EVERYTHING. sensor, A/C pumps, alt ect.????? then maybe a bit more.

LQ9 ===2500 sound O.K, I'm really not sure what the LQ9's are getting.

the truck was under water
he said that there was no water in the oil
i dont know if its an lq4 or 9

i wouldnt even try it man, if u can get the Vin number off the escalade, it will tell u if its a LQ9 or LQ4, look at the 8th digit of the VIN and if its a U then its a LQ4, if its a N then its a LQ9, i can get a brand new LQ9 for 3 grand at a place in houston, i personally wouldnt buy it especially if it was flooded, may have electrical problems

Ouchie. Check the bores, good bet a few got water in them. Rusting the walls. Be very leary unless you are looking to fully rebuild!

just talk 2 the guy again and he has another motor its an lq9 (has a N in the vin)
he said that it had water in the intake an some water in the cylinders that he pumped out but it had no water in the oil
he said $1000 for it and it has the computer and harness

its for my wife's camaro that has a v6 and im trying 2 get a v8 for it
should i just stick with the 5.7 ls1

get the 6.0 and make it a 408. they work well in camaros also.

I know a guy that is selling a 1999 LS1 off a ram-air and he wants $2500 for it, he said it was a complet motor.. he is building a 427 for the ram air now...
