Ordering parts and taking forever.

I just want to know the average wait you guys have had on ordering parts from sponsors. I have had great luck with all but one, getting my parts within a week after ordering.
However, I recently ordered a converter from a sponsor and it has been three weeks. Once e-mailing, I find out that the converter has not even been made. I could understand this being a one time deal, things happen. Although, this is the second this company has done this. It took over four weeks to get my AS&M headers from them, this almost two years ago. After getting rude service I said never again. Now, here I am all over again.
This sponsor has had alot of great posts about service. Am I just having bad luck?
That being said the following have great service: Thunder, AP Engineering, and East Side.

i've ordered tons of parts from thunder racing and gotten all of them (excepting major engine parts) within 3-5 days. crankshaft i ordered there took about 9 days. thunder has been my favorite of the sponsors so far...but i'm thinking about having AP build me a 348 for my Z28.
your bad luck wouldn't be with tbyrne would it? i've had a bad experience with them too...and AMS (local to us) sucks *** in my opinion too.

Well I wasn't going to say who it was, like I said things happen. However, yall narrowed it down. They are the cheaper but, I think that next time I will pay the extra $50. I am almost to the point of blasting them on the forum but, like I said maybe it is just my bad luck.
The 5.7 will be a spare, for me or my buddy. I think we might need it.
BTW, I believe the AMS Camaro ran a 5.90 with a 250 squirt. Not bad at all for a 347. Considering that Speedteck ran a 6.50 with a 408 and a big shot.

the speedtek car is a piece though...anything that's running high 9s/low 10s with what it has in it is a piece. my car with heads/cam and a 100 shot would probably...errr, will probably give it a run. my opinion on AMS has more to do with their customer service and chris marsh inparticular (he's an ***) not their performance. if you wanna talk shop cars though, speedtek is the lame duck of local LS1 shops....
