Orange reflectors in headlights

Default Orange reflectors in headlights

i have an 05 silverado and i want to take out the orange reflectors in my headlights. does anyone know how to gid rid of this uglyness.thanks

I think there is a thread on FullSizeChevy.com

I read it a while ago. It involves putting your lights in the oven to loosen the seal, so that you can open them up and just take the reflector out. Then you have to put new sealant on and close em up again.

There is a how-to at showtruckscene.com in the exterior styling section. Pretty easy to do, just takes a lot of patience

Do like I did. Buy a lower turnsignal housing on Ebay for cheap and use it for practice
