What do you guys think will happen with this new setup I'm putting together vs a built diesel on the street

2007.5 Silverado ext. Cab 4x4 lifted 9" on 37" tires on 22" wheels. Most built diesels where I live are lifted.

How much power you making? My slightly uneducated guess says over 600 but I'll be conservative and guess ~600. Depending on the extent of the modding on the diesel you could take him. However I believe they do take to mods very well.

Soooo much torque

Your build is very similar to mine! What all is done to the diesel? your truck should be making some very impressive power but the lift and rims/tires is gong to hurt you some. Curious how much that 4l60 is hating life with all that power and lift LOL!

ill say this... my roomie has a 2005 dodge cummins 5.9 4 door long bed on 37's 6-speed. his mods: bored 30 over, new pistons, new cam- 70hp. studded heads, new crank, 60hp injectors, twin cp3 fuel pumps, 5in turbo back exhaust, Intake, and a smartie programmer. with the tuner on level 3- 90 hp. i can still beat it my mods are in my signature. he is running a stock turbo " hes building it for twins... 97 psi " but neways he should be around 550-600 hp and 1100 TQ at the moment. so id say u could do pretty dam good.

I had a duramax dually ext. Cab 4x4, weight was probably around 7500lbs. Had efi live, water/meth and bolt ons. I was making 586rwhp. it ran 13.5's. But it all Depends on what platform he has and mods. A diesel that is running mid 10's rarely is capable of street driving. And has Built everything. Id say ur setup is capable of high 11's. And in a diesel, 11's consist of lots of mods and money.

I raced a 550hp diesel with stock height and tires with my setup and I waxed him till about a 100 but after that he was coming up strong.
surprised the **** out of him that a little 5.3 ran that strong.

My buddy has an 07 lbz with a lift pump and an efi tune and runs 13.4s all day on 20s. The tranny has a transgo jr. Shift kit with a stock converter that's loose as hell and the four by launch is rediculous!!!
For a full weight crew cab truck its extremely fast!

There is a common rail Dodge 2500 CC 4wd that runs 11.50's here in El Paso and that's at 4000' elevation. He daily drives it too. We tried to talk a 90k dollar GTR into running him last night but the guy was scared lol. I would be cautious running a modified diesel and try to find out what all is done.
