One heck of a drive!

Just got back yesterday from West Texas. Tues. morn. drove into work about 65 miles to get into state truck then left from Lake Jackson,Tx and drove to Dell City, Tx in 11.5 hours or roughly 820 miles and was immediately put to work loading trailers to get ready to move the wagon train over about 300 miles to Crane, Tx the next morning. Hitched up to a trailer. Couldn't go the way we planned because of high winds (55-60 on the flats and probably 75-80 through the pass). Co-worker had a flat on the way there in the middle of freaking nowhere and had to go back to help him change it. Got to Crane and unloaded, took co-worker to get new tires put on. Didn't get to sleep till 3am an back on the road at 7am to get back to LJ by 6pm then drive an hour to get back home all together about 1800 miles of driving and never left the state. But it was all for a good cause...the kids. Here's more info...Huff Wagon Train be sure to click on "follow the progress of the wagon train" and "daily digest" to learn more about it.

Two friends and I drove from Austin to San Diego back in 2001 (I think) which is about 1300-1400 miles in one day. I ended up driving 12 hours straight and about 14 overall. We took my friend's 94 EC Z-71 which got like 16 mpg on the highway.

That's your problem right there! That school is a sausage fest. I visited my ex's g-parents there, and I visited that school. Too many dudes! Down here its like 2/3 women 1/3 men. I like my odds! Hehehe.
I was once trapped on a bus for a little over 16hrs while sick as a dog.
Tucson to the Bay area. I think its worse being on a bus, because I couldn't pull over when I needed. I couldn't sleep in those damned seats either. Oh well.

My sister dated a guy that went to ER, but it was down here I think. He was a pilot and all, but I know for a fact he didn't live in Prescott. I would ask him questions about Prescott, and he was like......duh, I dunno? Anyway you should come down to this satelite if we have one. Tons of chicks, and if you have a uniform, the panties come flying off, just ask onyx.
