Default One heck of a drive!

I drove 990 miles yesterday, on my way to school, down to phoenix and back.

The truck was happy with the cruise set at 80. My mileage was a little lower than normal, probably because I have these Indy 500's set at 30/35. I'm going to go to 35/40 and see how that goes.

What is the longest distance you driven in one day?

My longest trip in 1 day was about 600 miles, from LA to San Diego and back to pick up my puppy. I was amazed at how much better my milage was than during city driving. City, I get about 220 a tank, highway, I got 310.

Went from Ohio to Myrtle Beach with mother-in-law. It was the road trip
from hell. I told her if she shut her mouth the whole trip I would give her $500.00. I would rather hear fingernails screaching on a chalk board than her voice. NEVER AGAIN!

I drive to Columbus Ohio and back in the same day
Did it this weekend.
Did that every weekend for the past 2.5 years
800 miles round trip.
Set the cruise at 80 and surf the radio.
I normally take the g/f car - gets 32 mpg
