keep getting a dumbass message saying "check oil level"

i have checked it 40 times, but my truck keeps telling me to check it. i am getting tired of this **** you stupid truck. it knows i checked it. LMAO

do i need to replace this sensor?

and where the hell is it? oil pan i assume

 

Passenger side of the oil pan. Never heard of anyone having trouble with one. Its a big sucker of a plastic nut on it.

I saw that message once when I changed my oil and accidentally left the key in the on position. Is the sensor like a float? It may just be stuck...
