Oil consumtion???

Not sure what to recommend for your oil burning issues. For comparison, I have an 01 5.3 with 105000km (65625mi) and I burn less than a quart every oil change(3k mi).

What is your mileage?

Just hit 100k but its been like this for the last 20-30k

ahh that aint to bad compared to my old girl i put a quart in 2 times a week or if im lucky once lol

If it is suckin the oil through the pcv system, changing the valve wo'nt help because it will still ba able to suck the oil/oil vapor. you have to remove all the pcv hoses and install breathers or a catch can. the only down fall is that if you have a lot of blow by you might get an annoying oil smell.
