Default NNBS police brake upgrade for NBS

05+ and NNBS brakes are a direct bolt on to NBS.

I got loaded calipers from RockAuto for $99 each.

New rotors from advance auto for $60 ($40 online coupon I found in 10 seconds of google search with in store pickup). If you cross reference part numbers, I believe basically any rotors you get at autozone, O'Reilly, etc are basically the same. They all list for about $50 each.

So $260 total for the setup. I bleed the brakes but havent driven it yet to do the bed in procedure.

Btw, the pads are semi metallic, police version. Stocks are ceramic. Not bad getting a loaded caliper for 99 when the pads alone are 85 at Carquest.

What was the reason for the swap? I noticed a little squeal in my brakes last week. I might have to look at my pads/rotors soon.

Well done! What a deal too! What is the diameter of the rotors?

which pads did you go with? Raybestos has that new semi metallic line out, they guarantee it wont have the squealing issues like with most metallics

The loaded calipers come with the semi metallic pads. Im not anticipating noise, but if they do im okay with it for ythe price, this isnt a DD.

When I pulled the old caliper I found that both pads were seized due to rusty slide surface. I used crc brske caliper grease.
