Default NGK Spark Plug Question

It's time for me to replace my spark plugs and wires for my 2001 5.3 Suburban. Do any of you guys see the NGK Laser Platinum Spark Plugs an over kill in price? What's your guys experience on Wires and Plugs? Just looking price and Quality.

I just replaced my plugs & wires,I stayed with A/C Delco but bumped up to JBA 8mm plug wires. And if your looking for Quality go with A/C Delco. But it also depends on what kind of Pefor. mods you have done.

heck I just used the cheapest plug wires I could find and NGK TR6's (Boost)..

if you just have that money burnin a hole in your pocket for for the expensive ones.. I Myself like the NGK TR55's for a basically stock engine.. TR6's for boost or nitrous..

The A/C Delco Iridium plugs are the ones I put in. If You have not done a cat back Exhaust?,That would be something you should do.you're getting the air in with the intake, now you need to get the air out.

If you like working on you truck then go with the NGK-TR55, if not go with the A/C Delco Iridium(stock). I like my TR55s.

Just a little input of what i am doing. A guy i know always uses the cut to fit MSD wire kits when he builds small blocks. So i just got the scraps that where left over (like 6 feet on the last set he got) and am just going to buy the ends from MSD then i will have a set of MSD wires for like 45 bucks. As far as plugs, i think i am going to go with the TR-55's.
