Default new times at the track

Well, i drove up to Greenville where Slowprocess runs at to do some money racing. and all i can say, after mine and his first few runs, no one wanted any. the fbody's were dog slow, and the mustangs were even worse.

the day started out when we see a black 90ish gt and i light the tires up going across an intersection to get him to come play. he did. he lined up next to slow as we caught a red light. i was behind slowprocess. slow takes off easy and the gt floors it. slow hits then i hit. remember, i am behind both of them. well, in a matter of a second, i was next to the gt and ole boy's jaw dropped hard. slow was way up there.

a short while later Slow lined a race up with me and an older body style L and i drug his *** hard. I spun through first and he got the jump then once i caught traction i killed him. he asked what the weird noise was at 60 mph? he said it sounded like a turbo. reply, that was tire spin you jackass. anyway, he wanted proof so we showed him. he was looking hard to find some gas or something to explain why he got yanked on that hard. btw, the truck he had was just slow. i think a 4.3L full size could have handed him his ***.

ok track runs. like i said earlier. we killed everything out there.

my new best on BFG DR's is 14.4 at 96.6 mph. still slightly spinning out of the hole

his new best was a 12.4. don't remember his speed.

he'll have some videos of the runs up probably tomorrow. all in all a fun time. at this track there is no organization period. you just run when you want to. people stand around placing bets on who was gonna beat who and then trying to get you to let the other car get the hit and stuff like that.

You guys are a mean! Be nice to the cars, especially the slow ones.

Nice times, isn't your truck a N/A EC? What are your mods? 96.6mph might be enough for some high 13's if you can hook it up.

Congrats on your new best... What size rim are you using for the BFG DR's?

i am using stock tahoe wheels for the bfg's. i am a n/a ec step side. so i am sure the less weight is helping me out.

i have the basic bolt on's. homebrew cai, predator-running pig rich, 160 stat, efans, pulley, plugs, wires, free mods, p&p tb, 4.10 gears with g80, vette servo, cats removed and running single exhaust into a poor man cutout. i can't remember what else. and the new used bfg's. they were slowprocess' but he got some mt et streets.

i felt like i spun off the line on that best time run. it was late and no one was running much. however, i was thinking that was probably what got me the mph. however, i have about 4 other slips that show the same mph so i know it can't be a messed up time.

i didn't list it but i have a 2000 vette cam as well.

the tires is what helped it out greg. my street tires weigh in at 40 pounds a piece. plus there 31" tall. i think that is what was killing my time when i first had them put on. also, the grip as well as greased owl ****.

jim did you say a 50 shot or 150 shot on the phone. i got to thinking about what you said and i couldn't remember.

i hope so. i have a tune that isn't the greatest in the world. if you have any kind of good tune that is going to help you out a lot. plus with the stall you should have a easier time hitting those numbers than me. i can't wait to see what i can do with a stall and some headers. i know 13's should be achievable with the addition of those two.
