Default New Times With Headers And Exhaust!

WELL IM GOING TO TRY TO KEEP THIS AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE. THESE ARE NEW TIMES WITH THE ASM Lt HEADERS, HIGH FLOW CATS, MAGNAFLOW X PIPE, AND DUAL DYNOMAX BULLETS. IT WAS 65 DEGREES WHEN I RAN.THE FIRST TWO RUNS WERE 15.21 AND 15.22. THEN I STARTED MANUALLY SHIFTING AND KEEPING IT IN SECOND A LITTLE LONGER AND I RAN 15.12 TWICE, 15.10, AND 15.11 ALL BACK TO BACK WITH NO COOL DOWN TIME. THEN WITH STILL NO COOL DOWN TIME I RAN THE BEST TIME OF THE NIGHT: 2.29 60FT, 9.75 1/8, AND 15.05 1/4 @ 91.62. SO ALL IN ALL I WOULD SAY THE COMPLETE EXHAUST HELPED BY 2.5 TENTHS, CUZ LAST TIME I RAN I DIDNT MANUALLY SHIFT AND IT SHOWED TO HELP BY A TENTH. BUT OVERALL MY TIME WAS 3.5 TENTHS BETTER. I ALSO TRIED REMOVING THE HEADLIGHT AND DROPPING THE TAIL GATE AND I DONT THINK IT MADE A DIFFERENCE JUDGING BY THOSE TIMES. THEY WERE JUST TO CONSISTENT. SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT THE OL Z71.

Not bad. I'm hoping to see good results myself Sunday. We went to the 1/8 track last friday but it wouldn't hook for ****, and the best I could pull was a 9.3 which was still a little over 1 tenth better than before headers and cam, but I know at HRP I should pull a lot better off the line. There was just too damn much wheelspin out there.

No, me neither. It did it for me when that LT1 beat that WS6 LS1 and that time was a 9.18.

Good times. I am hoping to see some quicker times with the new muffler on the truck. Hopefully I will get down to a 15.5 but I think that might be a little wishful thinking. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for you magnaflow cats?

Well They Weren't Magnaflow They Are The Xtreme Flow. And I Paid $200. Kinda Expensive If I Had It To Do Again I Would Find Some Cheaper Ones. But These Were Supposed To Flow 68% Better Than Factory.
