I am wanting to get a truck for an everyday driver. I already have an Camaro SS that I have fun with on the weekends. I would really like to get a new truck but don't know if that is in my price range or not. I really want V-8 but with prices the way there are I know I can not get a new one for my price range however I might be able to get a new V-6. I am kinda stumped as to what I should do, go with a new V-6 or look for a used V-8 in my price range. I don't have a very high price range and want to keep my payments under 300 a month. I figure that it puts me right at about 13000 to 15000. To anyone that has a V-6 do you ever regret not getting a V-8? I am in the D/FW area and if you know of a truck can you give me a shout via PM or email me at whitesscamaro@hotmail.com. I want a reg cab short box. Thanks.

It seems like everyone else finds the truck they want but I can't find anything. I guess I am just too impatient. I have been looking all week. I hope the saying is right that says, good things come to those who wait!

if you can live w/o power windows mirrors and a flip down arm rest...get a 4.8 base model with preffered equipment get em new for right around 20,000....used even cheaper...i almost bought a 02 base model 4x4 rcsb with auto air ,4.8 and the tow pkg for 23,900 but found an 01 ls 4x4 rcsb with all options except the 5.3 for 20000 with 5 k on it
