Hell, I don't care what it's on gas or diesel, 26+psi is gonna rock no matter what on a V8.

yea all you need is a 4000 dollar tranny. believe me, my dad is about to put his 03 duramax under with a new bad *** tranny. but once you have that, oh **** watch out!

duramax "max out" about 32 psi due to the stock wastegate, but that is an easy mod. at 32 psi, you can easily make nearly 420 + rwhp and 850 rwtq. guys have gone as much as 800 rwhp and 1500++ rwtq on the STOCK turbo (plus nitrous and propane). the cummins isnt the big show in town. but not many have learned of this new era. but lets remember you inherit 3200 rpm redlines ( and that = acceleration) and 7000+ lbs truckweights. but you still get outstanding fuel milage and a quick truck that is still able to pull 16K + lbs of load (try doing that with any GM boosted/nitrous/etc gasser). all in what you want. some people still have thoughts of old GM diesels or noisy diesels in genearl. only problem, price tags of 35K and up (talking NICELY loaded though).

Not at those extreme power levels. 70 horse module will easily exceed safe EGT's on a long hard pull or buckin good head wind, at 65 mph towing 12k lbs of fifth-wheel travel trailer.

By the way I will do that with my boost next year gasser. Just got to build it right, and strong.

there's a guy around my hood that has a dodge cummins that has a whole shitload of boost something like 70-80psi, **** blows black smoke out like a ****' I've also had my *** handed to me like I was standing still by a few Duramax's as well! I ran a stock Duramax vs my truck when it had a catback and he beat me by half a truck.
